Welcome to the Outdoor Season!

Here are just a few reminders below of what is expected from you to be able to shoot safely outdoors.

WhenAvailable Booker

Please continue to make sure you are signed up on the booker. No exceptions. If you cannot make it on the day please remove yourself from the booker and send a WhatsApp message so that we know.

Arrow Log

You must add the number of arrows you will be taking out of your bag to the arrow log BEFORE you start any session. Then you must sign them back in to the arrow log AFTER you have finished shooting. This is an important safety requirement so we can track any missing arrows. Please remember.

Your Arrows

Arrows must NOT be carbon only. These cannot be picked up by the metal detector if lost. Aluminium or Aluminium Carbon Composite arrows are to be used. All of your arrows MUST be named and numbered. ARROWSOCKS is a good site for name labels.

Helping Set Up And Put Away

If you have signed up to the 10am session please make sure you arrive 10 to 15 minutes earlier to help set up. Bows to be set up once the range is ready. Similarly if you are on the 1pm session, please help to put everything away at the end.

Standing Back From The Shooting Line

Once you have finished shooting, please make sure you move completely away from the shooting line 3 metres to the waiting area. The field captain needs to know easily who is still shooting and who has finished.

Other Information - Toilet Facilities

We have access to a toilet which is located at the front side of the sports hall on the corner nearest the field. It’s accessible by a code and the toilet cubicle inside is also lockable. The code for entry can be found at the front of the arrow log. Please make sure you turn off the lights after using the facilities and close the door as you leave.
