More Information About Our Beginners Course:
Our beginners courses are designed to give you an introduction to this historic sport, understand the importance of safety, development of basic archery skills whilst helping you embark on your archery journey, whatever your aspirations and importantly, to have fun!
You will be learning to use a recurve bow - the type of bow you see at the Olympics. The aim of the course is to ensure you attain the necessary knowledge and skills to pass Archery GB beginner course criteria. Once you have completed your course and received sign-off as a competent archer then the archery world is yours to enjoy.
Our beginners courses are taught in small groups, so all attending archers receive plenty of personal attention from the coaches - but we do not offer individual private beginners tuition.
NOTE
Children MUST be accompanied by a parent, guardian or nominated adult - why not learn together?
We recommend that CHILDREN AT LEAST 12 YEARS OLD to join the course, and for children who are close to 12 years old, we consider the appropriateness of the course on an individual basis.
Our coaches are qualified Archery GB Level 1 and have been DBS-checked.
